The 120 Saba Regional Festival was held by the Young Cinema Association in the central provinces of Hamedan, Qom and Qazvin,
and the winners of various categories were announced.
The members of the jury of this festival, Mahmoud Nazeri (writer, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker),
Mohammad Reza Nemati (cinema critic) and Mir Abbas Khosravi Nejad (member of the board of directors of Iranian short film)
judged the works in two parts: fiction and documentary.
The jury's statement pointed to shortcomings in the works of the festival's filmmakers,
the most important of which were the disorder in conveying the filmmaker's mental concepts and turning it into cinematic expression and language,
and subsequently replacing slogans with themes and not using narrative expansion techniques to spread the original idea. Was.
The closing ceremony of the festival was held in Saveh on July 8, in compliance with the health protocols.
